Meet Terry
Terry Roberts' extensive experience in various professional and community roles, dedication to public service, and strong educational background underscore his commitment to his community.
His educational journey took him through Idaho State University, where he studied Political Science, and Seattle University, where he delved into Economics and Political Science. Additionally, Terry has political experience from his time with the Republican National Committee and the Reagan-Bush 1984 campaign. His early career included subcontracting for Sound Business Systems at the Bangor and Bremerton Naval Yards, and he briefly hosted a radio talk show on KRKO.
Terry is a seasoned professional with 22 years of experience in finance as a project manager, currently with Discover Financial Services. Throughout his diverse career, Terry has held numerous significant roles. He was a consultant and trainer for Washington State Public Schools and was Operations Director for Catholic Community Services. His leadership skills were further showcased as the Chief Operating Officer of Metaphos, a payments technology company, and at Service Alternatives, a social service agency focused on aiding disabled and troubled youth. Terry and his wife Karen are dedicated craft farmers in Quilcene growing heirloom apples for a local cidery and raising Cheviot sheep.
Terry's dedication to community service is evident through his participation on several boards and committees. He has served on the boards of Northshore Youth and Family Services, Long Term Elderly Care, and the Selective Service System Local Board No. 21. He was also a member of the King County 2000 Committee. He served as Director River Ridge homeowners association and remains an active member of his local church, serving on the board of elders.
